, distinguished international faculty assembled by the American College of Construction Lawyers and Princeton University will discuss the challenges facing the global construction industry because of continuing resource constrictions. Government, industry and academic leaders from around the world will convene on the Princeton campus to discuss and plan for this changing and challenging landscape.

Joshua Cooper Ramo
Joshua Cooper Ramo is Managing Director at Kissinger Associates, and author of “The Age of the Unthinkable.” Prior to entering the strategic advisory business, Mr. Ramo was an award winning journalist and the youngest-ever foreign editor of TIME magazine. Among his nearly two-dozen cover stories were the 1997 Man of the Year profile of Andy Grove and an award-winning profile of Kofi Annan. Ramo, a Mandarin speaker, divides his time between Beijing and New York City. The World Economic Forum has called him “one of China’s leading foreign-born scholars.” You may have seen Mr. Ramo on Meet the Press, The Today Show, or Charlie Rose.

George Smitherman
George Smitherman was appointed Ontario’s Minister of Energy and Infrastructure in June 2008. He previously served as Minister of Health and Long-Term Care since 2003. He has been a Member of Provincial Parliament in Ontario since 1999. In his community, Smitherman is well known for his advocacy in areas such as housing, heritage preservation, community economic development, protection of pension rights, efforts to combat guns and drugs, and human rights issues.

Riley serves as the Director of Civil Works, Headquarters, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, playing a vital role in managing the Corps $5.0 billion annual Civil Works Program focused on meeting the Nation’s water resources challenges. Prior to commanding MVD, MG Riley served as the Deputy Chief of Staff, Engineer, Headquarters, U.S. Army Europe, and also as Contract Construction Engineer for the Corps’ Far East District Korea.
